[seminar flyer pdf]

Aim of the seminar is to tackle the topic of the sensorial urbanism: through sight, hearing, touch and smell it is possible to perceive, in the urban environment, invisible layers intertwined together and defined by the different elements that constitute the built environment.

The seminar wants to focus on the tools and methodologies that could be applied for describing the multisensorial form of the urban environment, and how these elements can be seen as useful materials for the design of urban open spaces.

Invited speakers:
Jean Paul Thibaud (Laboratorie CRESSON - ENSA Grenoble)
Daniel Siret (Laboratorie Cerma - ENSA Nantes)
Antonella Radicchi (Tempo Reale - Firenze)
Heleni Porfyriou (CNR Roma - ICVBC)
Valerio Signorelli (Laboratorio Simulazione Urbana ‘Fausto Curti’ - Polimi)
